Bush Plans Boost of Immigration BillWhile on his Latin American junket- United States
President George Walker Bush visited with Mexico`s new President Felipe Calderon. Tom Raum of the Associated Press wrote that the two leaders debated Immigation policies. On this score- Mr. Bush said he would employ his good offices with Massachusetts` senior Democratic Senator Edward Kennedy to assist him in sheperding his Immigration Bill through the mindfields laid by the opposition in congress. On its chances of passage-President Bush asserted that- `My mood is optimistic because the mood in congress seems like it`s changed.` One permanent solution discussed by these two Western Hemisphere leaders entailed the construction of border fences to divide the two countries. On this topic Mexico`s President Calderon said- `The borders should bring us together and not separate us.` He continued- `When Mexico grows, the United States benefits.` Mutually, both presidents Calderon and Bush want to thwart the trafficking of terrorists and drug smuggling across the borders.Write your abstract here.
