Cuando nos referimos a un evento pasado, se utiliza la construcción del infinitivo perfecto.
Ejemplo:
" It is said that at least a hundred people have been killed. - At least a hundred people are said to have been killed."
El infinitivo
pasivo se puede usar cuando no hay necesidad de puntualizar el sujeto, esto es cuando no queremos precisar al autor de la acción.
Ejemplo: "I should like someone to take me round the gallery. - I''d like to be taken round the gallery."
El infinitvo pasivo puede ser similar en significado al must y el have to. es utilizado frecuentemente para dar ordenes e instrucciones formales
Ejemplo: "One is to dissolve these tablets in water before one takes them. - These tablets are to be dissolved in water before they are taken."
Esta oración queda mas natural en forma
pasiva.
